According to the ADP Report, employment in the service-providing sector rose by 30,000 in August, the seventh consecutive monthly gain.

BEIJING, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - The Purchasing Managers' Index for China's manufacturing sector stood at 51.7 per cent in July, up 0.5 percentage points from the previous month, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said on Wednesday. This is the first time the PMI figure reports on-month increase after posting decline for three consecutive months.
